he Archaeological Site is typically open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

What is the Best Time to Visit?

Early Morning (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM) or Late Afternoon (3:00 PM – 5:30 PM) to avoid the intense midday heat. The dry season (Generally June to September) offers the best weather.

👗 What is the Dress Code?

As a sacred site, you must dress modestly when entering temples and stupas. Shoulders and knees must be covered (for all genders). It's wise to carry a shawl or sarong.

🚲 How long does the tour take?

A good visit covering the major highlights takes approximately 3 to 5 hours, depending on your pace and mode of transport.

Are there photography rules?

Yes. Do not pose for photos with your back turned to Buddha statues, as this is considered highly disrespectful. Always be mindful and respectful when photographing monks or local residents.
